We're happy (and relieved) to now officially announce that *v0.19* has been released! Technically it's v0.19.1 due to hiccups in the packaging process and last minute bugs 3rd party software dependency issues. You can find the overview at wiki.freecadweb.org/Release_…
If you’re serious about 3D printing, you probably use OctoPrint. Well, guess what? Octoprint is now available as a plugin for Fusion 360 🔥Download it here. #additive#3dp#teamadditivebit.ly/39Zz65w
Hello #3DPrinting Friends! 3DPrinter makers often tin the ends of the wires going to the terminal blocks on the printer's mainboard. Over time, those connections loosen, increasing resistance & heat.
So I crimped on ferrules to prevent that.

I really wish @Artillery3d1 would fix their printers. I’ve sent them evidence of their poor build quality and lack of safety quite a few time and have told people to stay away from supporting them. If it’s not burning connectors it’s bed cables literally falling apart in months.
People are asking if you can do support trees in Lychee Slicer. Yes, and it's been a while now :) In our next update, it will be even easier/faster with a global implementation of repeating the last support element. Join our discord to test it: mango3d.io/discord
So the French affiliate website "Myron 3D" is blatantly stealing all the articles from my website, auto-translating them and publishing them as their own. My lawyer is like "well it's international and all info is redacted so 🤷♂️"
What should one do here?

Cura is, in that sense, lucky to have a corporate backer. But it's just a single one, so the focus of development is going to be focused on what Ultimaker wants.
I really want other companies to also participate, but there just aren't any takers.
On a belt printer Y and Z motion are tied together. For every 1mm move in Z there is -1 ÷ sqrt(2) mm moved in Y. A post-processing step compensates by skewing Y in proportion to Z.
But we could do that skewing in firmware and then you would just just slice at 45° … and go!
