Le 6 décembre fait écho à l’attentat de 1989 à l’École polytechnique de Montréal qui a fait 14 victimes féminines et 13 personnes blessées. Cet acte violent s’est déroulé dans une institution formant des ingénieurs et ingénieures et a donc une portée toute particulière pour notre organisation. *** December 6 commemorates the 1989 attack at the École Polytechnique in Montreal, which left 14 women dead and 13 wounded. This violent act took place at an institution training engineers, and therefore has particular significance for our organization.
