This is the largest man-made lake in Uganda located in Ndeeba. The lake is about 5km from Kampala City centre. It occupies an area of around 2 sq. km and is about 200 feet deep. It was dug out on the orders of Kabaka Mwanga as an 'escape corridor' to Lake Victoria.
