DRDO successfully conducted the flight-test of the indigenously developed Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha. The missile achieved all mission objectives, validating critical technologies and demonstrating India’s growing long-range precision strike capability. Developed with its all sub-systems by #DRDO with strong participation from Indian industry, the successful test is another major step towards #AatmanirbharBharat and a stronger national defence ecosystem.

Emerging as a revolution, nurturing 680 Start-ups/Innovators join defence innovation ecosystem with 556 contracts signed; received 68 clearances for procurement; and 51 procurement contracts worth Rs 2,659 crores signed through iDEX. Over 17,000 MSMEs now form the backbone of India's indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem. DPSUs in collaboration with emerging startups across its business verticals, harnessing their innovation and recognizing their valuable contributions towards building Aatmanirbharta in defence manufacturing. DPSUs through Apprenticeship Training, PM Vishwakarma, PM Internship Scheme, Centres of Excellence, Vocational Training Centres, and On-the-Job training have turned potential into purpose, and skills into sustainable livelihoods for youth.
