His refusal had significant consequences, allowing Pakistan’s nuclear programme to advance unimpeded and leading to setbacks for Indian intelligence operations in Pakistan. ▶️ Desai wasn't done harming India. Angered by RAW's secret talks with Dayan, he cut the agency's budget by 30% and shared sensitive intelligence about the nuclear programme at Kahuta with Pakistan’s military ruler Zia-ul-Haq. ▶️ RAW had gathered critical evidence of Pakistan’s nuclear ambitions, including radiation traces and blueprints, but Desai refused permission for sabotage operations. His decision weakened RAW’s operational capability and intelligence posture against Pakistan’s nuclear programme. ▶️ Due to Desai's betrayal, several Indian spies in Pakistan were caught, tortured and executed. That basically sums up Gandhian principles for you. ▶️ Currently, Pakistan has around 170 nuclear bombs - all deployed against India. You can thank Morarji Desai for this.

His name is Harekala Hajabba. For decades he has sold oranges from a small cart near the bus stand in Mangaluru, Karnataka. He earns around a hundred and fifty rupees a day. He has never been to school and cannot read or write. By every measure the world uses, he is a poor, unlettered fruit seller. One day, sometime in the 1990s, a foreign couple stopped at his cart and asked him, in English, the price of his oranges. He could not understand them and could not answer. They walked away. The moment did not anger him. It shamed him. Then it changed him. He decided that no child in his village should ever have to stand there the way he had, unable to understand a simple question, locked out by language and the lack of a school. His village, Newpadpu, did not have one. The nearest school was about seven kilometres away. So an illiterate orange seller earning a hundred and fifty rupees a day set out to build a school. He saved his coins, approached officials and donors, and donated his own land. In the year 2000, the school opened with twenty-eight children in a place that had never had one. Today that school teaches up to Class 10 and has around a hundred and seventy-five students. Children from his village now study in classrooms he helped build from the price of oranges. People began calling him Akshara Santha, the saint of letters. In 2020, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri, one of the nation’s highest civilian honours. He walked up barefoot, wearing a plain white dhoti, to receive it. He said it was not his award. It belonged to the school. He still sells oranges and has said he wants to use whatever he earns and receives to build a college next. Five years ago, in Comilla, Bangladesh, under a Durga Puja pandal, a horrific conspiracy was allegedly hatched against Hindus by placing a Quran under the feet of the Durga idol. Two days ago, someone reportedly spotted Baharuddin in Kolkata, India, and a video of him circulating online confirmed this sighting. This morning, Kolkata police arrested the alleged terrorist Baharuddin. It was reported that his wife, son, parents, and five other family members — eight people in total — were living peacefully in Kolkata. They were said to possess Indian documents including Aadhaar cards and ration cards, indicating that official documentation had been obtained in India.

The state of Pakistan deployed 16,000 troops drawn from Pakistani army, Pakistani paramilitary forces like Rangers and police personnel from Islamabad, Punjab and Sindh provinces to crush a peaceful protest gathering of Kashmiri Muslims from ethnic Pahari speaking Potohari Pahari and Gujjar and Bakarwal tribal nomadic communities of Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) in Rawalakot city of PoJK, day before yesterday. There are varying reports of casualties ranging from 200 to 400 Kashmiri Muslim protesters from PoJK being massacred by Pakistani security forces. Even though officially "only 11" people are said to have been shot dead by Pakistani security forces. Most of those killed were members of Joint Awami Action Committee of Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (JKAAC), who were protesting to force the regional puppet government of PoJK and the state of Pakistan to fulfil its promises of "38 Point Charter of demands" pertaining mostly to basic civilian rights like cheap subsidised wheat, electricity etc. INDIA CANNOT REMAIN SILENT. Anecdote: Once during my posting in Vancouver, I visited a radio station for a live talk show. After the show, the owner met me and introduced a middle-aged couple. The man,who introduced himself as a Sarpanch in a Punjab village before coming to Canada, said they weren’t getting Indian passports because of being refugees there. When I enquired the reason for seeking asylum, he said they were being harassed in Punjab. Strangely, he claimed the harassment years after the terrorism was wiped out. Hence they migrated to Canada and got the asylum, he said.He couldn’t give satisfactory answer when I asked for the police case details etc, if any. I further asked why they chose to migrate thousands of miles away when they could have shifted to some other state in India itself. Finally, he almost admitted that they wanted to migrate and no excuse other than concocting the false case of atrocities would have helped them obtain asylum. I said what I had to say to them on their defaming own country making fictitious accusations for selfish interests as it was like abusing own mother. Before leaving from there, I told them clearly that they shouldn’t expect any out-of-turn favour and would get the service as per existing rules only. The message was clear. JaiHind🇮🇳

The Mughal faujdar Wazir Khan had ordered the two young children be bricked alive as they refused to accept Islam. When they died, their grandmother died of shock The Mughals did not want to allow the cremation to humiliate the martyrs.
