As a father to a young daughter with Autism, I know how hard and challenging the NDIS can be. With the right supports, I was able to hear Emery say “I love you dad” for the first time earlier this year. It is something I will never forget and gives me the drive I have today.

As a soldier I wore the Australian flag on my shoulder, proud to serve underneath it. My mates who were killed in combat, died in training or succumbed to their war within had the Australian flag draped over their coffins. 🧵 2/3

I was honoured to officially open the North Queensland Military Muster with my daughter Astin. 1000’s of people attend the muster, to learn about the military history of Townsville and North QLD, from the Boer War to present, recognising, remembering and preserving that history.

On the 18th July and every day I remember my mate, our brother, Ben Ranaudo who was killed in action 16 years ago. In the same IED blast Paul suffered significant life changing injuries including having his leg blown off. #LestWeForget
