Following the successful completion of the pilot phase, the Delivery Order module for consignments cleared through South Asia Pakistan Terminals (SAPT), Karachi Port, is being implemented through the Port Community System (PCS). Effective 03 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 2026, all Delivery Order requests and processing for SAPT cleared consignments will be carried out exclusively through the PCS platform. #PSW, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Trade Organizations (#DGTO), conducted its third #ChangeManagement session at #FPCCI Head Office, Karachi, continuing its consultative engagement on the digitalization of DGTO processes under its broader mandate to enable a modern, data-driven trade facilitation ecosystem. Building on earlier sessions, this session brought together chambers of commerce, trade associations, and business councils from Sindh and Balochistan, including FPCCI's regional office in Quetta, reinforcing PSW's commitment to ensuring that stakeholders across all regions are engaged, informed, and heard ahead of implementation. During the session, PSW presented the proposed DGTO portal, showcasing redesigned digital workflows aimed at reducing procedural complexity, eliminating manual dependencies, and enhancing transparency, efficiency, and regulatory responsiveness across trade processes. The session focused on gathering feedback on the proposed digital tools and system designs to help improve service delivery, transparency, and competitiveness within #Pakistan’s trade environment.
