Allied Health Practitioners (AHPs) in the UK show some differences from Australia. The UK professions are strongly female with #Paramedicine the only AHP with <50% female membership (cf. Australia 52.9%). There is reliance on overseas recruitment. @RosalieBoyce

Overseas #Paramedics currently number 2065 or 4.9% of 42160 paramedics. Many of these are likely to be from Australia or New Zealand, but offshore recruitment is now virtually at a standstill. The UK has far more Physiotherapists (82235) than Practitioner Psychologists (31775).
