Parent Reminder to the world -I worry that one day we will all look around and see we built a world that our children are not prepared to thrive in. If you are in a failing school system this is what is happening. Like it or not.

If you missed the discussion on kids struggling to read in Newark it is not to late to join in. We know something is working and with only 19% of kids reading on grade level- its just too critical not to discuss.

Once again the underserved has gotten the hard end of a hard deal. Seventh-grade English results showed that only 52.7% of all students were proficient 26.4-point gap between students who were economically disadvantaged and those who weren’t.
