Our brilliant Jersey volunteers have arrived in Kenya - JOA's first Community Work Projects team to go into the field since 2019. Thanks to @sand_dams for hosting - I'm sure the team will have an amazing experience while also doing incredible good.

Great start to our parish celebrations marking the Queens Jubilee, yesterday with an afternoon tea for 100 senior citizens. Fingers crossed for some good weather on Saturday for our main event, The Picnic in the Paddock.
So disappointed that a persistent Covid result is preventing me from joining fellow Islanders at the Vigil in the Royal Square to show our undivided support for the people of The Ukraine 🇺🇦 who are subject to unimaginable suffering at the hands of this despot Russian President.
JOA is celebrating the 50th anniversary of our overseas volunteering programme, Community Work Projects. If you're one of the 1,000 or so islanders who have kindly given their time as a volunteer on one of our CWPs, we'd love to hear from you. For info: joa.je/news/

Today marks our #10YearsInTrinity! 🥳 10 years since we moved from the old dairy site at Five Oaks to our home in Trinity. Over the last 10 years the new dairy has processed well in excess of 100 million litres of milk from our Jersey farms. Now that's a lot of cups of tea! ☕️
1/1 We now enter level 3 of the safe exit framework for Jersey. There is still a Stay at Home instruction in place, however you are now allowed outside of your home for a maximum of six hours per day.
Liberation In Lockdown.
Please send images of your decorations and celebrations to your Parish Hall (for Trinity pot@gov.je) for an exhibition to be held later this year.
Although today is a day for celebration and rejoicing, it is also a time to remember those who gave their lives so that we might be free. Earlier this afternoon together with our Rector we held a short service and placed wreathes at the three war memorials in Trinity.
