My conversation with
@frankjguzzone, the Head of Design at Thrive Capital.
Frank’s career journey is an unconventional one. He started as a medical scribe at a hospital center outside of DC before switching careers and moving to New York City to work with some of the largest global brands, and most recently building the design function at Thrive Capital from the ground up.
His design philosophy blends scientific rigor with creative intuition. In his mind, the best design feels effortless, but you should sweat every detail to get there.
Frank is an incredible designer and an even better person. We discuss his life story, the mechanics of great design, how to name a company, his work at Thrive and much more.
Hope you enjoy!
