You so deserved all the accolades Alex. Sometimes youโ€™re the right guy with the wittiest comment in the moment. As you said - on 6/11/26 you definitely won the internet ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Iโ€™m speechless. I have no speech. The man himself had acknowledged me. Thank you to everyone whoโ€™s liked, commented, reposted and reached out to me these past 36 hours. Never in a million years did I expect this to happen.

My God heโ€™s openly rooting for Iran. The sickness. The brain rot
Tucker Carlson: Like it or not, Iran are uniquely standing up for Palestinians and the people of Lebanon. "The rest of the world is watching this in horror and no one else is doing anything about it."

๐Ÿšจ Breaking: Iran was just given a 2-day ultimatum to reach a deal. If they fail to do so in 2 days, the consequences are clear: they will have another 2 weeks. Or 2 months.

Israel sent Iran a strategic message this morning: we act independently. President Trump might have told Israel not to act in several interviews, but in the end Israel did what it believed it needed to. While this appears to defy Trump, it could just as easily have been coordinated - America stays out of this round, but Iran learns that Israel is prepared to act with or without the US. And that message matters because Iran had been playing America for a fool. It dragged out the talks while continuing to destabilize the region - attacking the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait (remember the attack on Kuwaitโ€™s airport a few days ago?). Then came yesterdayโ€™s missile attack on Israel. Beyond the immediate threat, it carried a message that Iran still believed it could dictate the rules of the game all over the Middle East including in Lebanon. This was not a regime acting like it was about to make a deal or wanted to compromise. It was acting like a regime that believed it was immune and that Trump was so desperate for a deal, that he would do anything to avoid a new round of fighting. This morning, it learned a different lesson.

This is big. Israel is rolling back that which Iran advanced under cover of ceasefire. Handing Trump even more leverage.
โญ•๏ธ๐Ÿ›ฉ๏ธ STRUCK: The IDF completed a large-scale strike on strategic defense systems belonging to the Iranian terror regime. Recently, defense systems were deployed across Iran to restore the regimeโ€™s capabilities degraded during Operation Roaring Lion. The strike led to the dismantling of these systems.

This was the top of the New York Times last night. The first thing every reader sees the moment they land on the homepage of the most influential news outlet on earth. All three stories about Israel. There is a famous communications scholar named Maxwell McCombs who developed what is now called the "agenda setting theory." His core finding is simple: The press is not very good at telling people what to think. It is extraordinarily good, however, at telling people what to think ABOUT. And what the New York Times has decided you should think about, every single day, multiple times a day, forever and always, is Israel. You cannot saturate the most influential newsroom in the English language with relentless coverage of one small country and then act surprised when the public becomes similarly hyper-fixated with it. The animosity we constantly see is the predictable output of editorial selection, repeated daily, until it becomes the background music of how people think about the Jewish state.

Im sorry you were traumatized by Vinod falling asleep in your meeting. But he founded one of the pioneering companies of the modern computer industry (Eric Schmidt worked for him there), has the highest ever multiple and IRR at exit in Kleiner Perkins history ($7B return on $3M invested in only 3 years) and while everyone was investing in SaaS throughout the 2010s, Vinod was funding the first round of companies building battery tech, rocket launch, fusion, genomics, carbon tech and a little AI research lab called OpenAI. And he did this while hitting grand slams and raising multi billion dollar funds. He is one of the truest VCs to ever do it.

Competition with China might be the best thing to happen to America since the cold war. Weโ€™ve been leading the world for so long, but we got a bit complacent. Competition breeds excellence.
