Today, visited the 134-year-old Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur—the premier training institution of Punjab Police—to launch the all-new SAANJH Citizen Portal, a significant step towards citizen-centric and technology-driven policing. With Aadhaar-enabled eKYC, QR-authenticated certificates, paperless verifications, and a host of digital citizen services, the portal will make policing more accessible, transparent, efficient, and responsive.
Flagged off a fleet of 93 electric scooters for women police personnel managing Punjab Police Mahila Mitra and Women Help Desks, enhancing mobility and strengthening our capacity to deliver responsive policing across the state.
As we continue to deepen community policing through initiatives such as Yuva Saanjh, the Student Police Cadet Scheme, Jagriti, Women Help Desks, and Saanjh Rahat Kendras, Punjab Police remains firmly committed to its guiding principle — “Haq Tuhada, Farz Saada.”
