When Mejja was performing for high school kids, he got to the line: "Mimiii Ka Ni Vajoo Nyanyua", then paused. The DJ realized things were about to go too far, so he quickly switched the song to Siaka Siaska. Watching that live performance, I felt so embarrassed seeing how the kids were struggling to pronounce some words in Mejjaโs lyrics. Unfortunately, those are exactly the songs they love singing. So what can we do? For example, in the song Nairobi, thereโs a line that goes "Ikaingiaa Ndaaani Ndaaani..." โ the moment it played, I was like โWhaaaat is this?!โ
