The Nelson Monument in Liverpool has been transformed into a fortress in solidarity with hundreds of Ukrainian monuments that have been sandbagged to protect them from russian attacks. Thank you to the organizers of #Eurovision2023 ๐Ÿ“ท@EchoWhatsOn

Touching North American and Europe at the same time. If you dive into the Silfra fissure in Iceland, you are actually diving between two continental plates. [๐Ÿ“น palrikhardsson0]

The @BBCNews has now confirmed what some of us warned for years. A Russian diplomat ran a sabotage campaign on British soil: arson against the Prime Ministerโ€™s own home, and fake far-right and Islamist groups built to turn us against each other. This is not crime. It is how war is fought by powers who donโ€™t want to expose their hand. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8r2โ€ฆ

Weird how Reform havenโ€™t said anything on the arson attacks on Keir being sponsored by Russia. Almost like theyโ€™re scared of calling Russia out. Why would that be?

Yโ€™all, not to be a huge nerd but for the reflecting pool you would need a minimum of about 8,000 liters of 12% hydrogen peroxide to reach the 50 parts per million concentration to kill algaeโ€ฆ Is this what happens when you have 0 scientists in your administration?
They're literally dumping hydrogen peroxide into the reflecting pool this morning... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

And yet...
In 2007, the standards of living in the United States and Western Europe were similar, and most people donโ€™t realize how much things have diverged since the US boomed after the global financial crisis and Europe didnโ€™t. They donโ€™t fully understand how weโ€™re living and we donโ€™t fully understand how theyโ€™re living; even when we visit Europe as tourists, we donโ€™t see their tiny, sad flats and their depressing grocery stores. That is why Europeans visiting for the World Cup are going to, like, a Waffle House or a Taco Bell and losing their minds. Stuff we donโ€™t even like or care about is wildly superior to everything everywhere else. We have no idea how rich we are.

Please ignore my earlier post. Al is fantastic and sensible.
Nigel Farage's latest Substack shows he's just a race-baiter in a Barbour jacket. Sowing division is not patriotic in the slightest.
