Several houses in Strathcona have been marked with a sign outside to highlight the rich history & remarkable people who once lived in that historical neighbourhood. This one certainly deserves special mention.@acww@Damascus8. @VanHeritage@PchcMoM#CrossCulturalWalks
Wayson Choy, author of The Jade Peony, grew up in #Vancouver and spent a big part of his childhood in #Chinatown. He also lived in this house at 630 Keefer St. From the 1920s-1970s, various Chinese families also made this house in Strathcona their home.
