It's certainly permissible to say there is rising friction between racial lines in the western world. But we're still afraid to suggest that white people may not be at fault. Not that there isn't any evidence behind such a claim. Consider the following:
The hosts of The Gin & Juice Podcast are openly teaching people how to commit perjury in order to rig juries based entirely on skin color. "Damn near half of the black people who could have been on the jury canceled themselves out... Don't do that. When you go up there, say, 'No, I have never heard about this case. I can be fair.' Say that. Okay? And then mean it. Believe it a little." This is exactly how trust in the justice system gets destroyed.

It's remarkable how woman authors like this are never happy with anything. In this article, the author starts by stating how bad swiping is because it promotes a focus on visual attraction (as if that is somehow unimportant in relationships), but then when Bumble shifts to its apparently new AI matching system, the author is still not happy because that system apparently removes female agency. The author offered no alternative solution. Instead, she blamed "brogrammers", and, to a lesser extent, Bumble. Along the way, the author also implied that heterosexual men experience little or no abuse/harassment on dating apps. That is untrue. See the relevant data brief published at The Nuzzo Letter yesterday. And, of course, she found a way to weave in a narrative about women doing more of the "invisible load" on dating apps.

Whenever I see news reports about migrant crime in Western Europe, it makes me wonder: Aren't people living there like rabbits living in a bear's den? They seem to be huddling in a corner, waiting for their turn to be attacked by teeth and claws. And if they resist even a little, they are attacked by wolves called the police. How did things end up this way in societies that have elections and claim to value freedom? From the outside, it almost looks as if ordinary white citizens have become second-class citizens. Were elections really held? Were they conducted properly? From a Japanese perspective, it feels strange—strange beyond words. The more we look at it, the harder it is to understand.

I almost feel sorry for Trump when he feels a need to yell: Netanyahu is not my boss! Trump announced on April 18 that he "prohibited" Israel from bombing Lebanon. They laughed and bombed the next day. Trump wants a deal with Iran but is petrified of The Israel Lobby's rage.
Trump tells FT that Israel would have no choice but to accept whatever deal the US negotiates with Iran "He won’t have any choice. I call the shots. I call all the shots. He [Netanyahu] doesn’t call the shots"

A new study finds that donations from faculty at top universities have become increasingly one-sided, with the range of opinion concentrated on the left. In fact, the average faculty donor is only slightly less left-leaning than Senator Bernie Sanders.

Whatever one's views are on these various issues, it should not be difficult to observe how bizarre and crazy and insane it is that so many American politicians stand up like this and emotionally vow to fight for one foreign country and the people who live in it:
Choking back tears, Michigan US Senate candidate Haley Stevens exclaims, "ISRAEL COMES TO ME IN MY DREAMS!"

Always funny when leftists go “Art is left wing” like they aren’t constantly double checking and breathing down the necks of every artist, musician, and actor to make sure they’re not right wing and making sure they lose everything they have if they are right wing.

So shameful of Rubin. All that should matter is the quality of the movie.
David Rubin served as President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 2019 to 2022. In 2020, under his leadership, the Academy launched the “Representation and Inclusion Standards” for Best Picture eligibility. These rules, still in effect, require films to meet at least 2 of 4 diversity criteria involving race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disability in on-screen roles, creative leadership, or crew. Rubin publicly backed the changes and helped appoint the task force co-led by producer DeVon Franklin. He shifted the Oscars from “best movie wins” to race/gender engineering. A film can now be ineligible for the top prize purely for failing demographic quotas, regardless of quality or audience impact. Instead of focusing purely on talent and storytelling, the Academy under Rubin institutionalized identity preferences. Oscars prestige and viewership have tanked. Many see it as performative politics over art. Classics with non-diverse casts would be disqualified. He helped install the DEI machinery that turned awards into checkboxes and accelerated Hollywood’s quality decline.
