As we create new compensation models, we can't lose sight of what people moving to web3 are leaving behind. Health insurance is an important consideration, but implementing it in a DAO requires a new approach.

1/ UMA introduces the Range Token - a new treasury primitive that enables DAOs to access funds and diversify their treasury without directly selling their native tokens.
DAOs can use their native tokens as collateral to borrow funds with no risk of liquidation.

Both of these are very true. To borrow from @Meta_Cartel, if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far, go together
DAOs make that second path possible, but it takes a mindset shift from the go fast / alone mentality, which is too celebrated today

I appreciate the sentiment but would like to add: Donβt underestimate the mindset shift. If it feels hard to really come into being an owner while sharing ownership. To really be the only one accountable for where you direct your attention and love, weβre with you. Lets go...

Great research! This is exactly the problem we're trying to solve with @PeepsPoolParty. Creating ways for DAOs to 1) earn yields on their treasuries and 2) take advantage of lending platforms to diversify, if their treasuries are heavily weighted towards native tokens.
