We would like to welcome Yakov (Yasha) Berchenko-Kogan to the department as a postdoctoral scholar. Yasha graduated from Caltech with a B.S. in mathematics and a minor in control and dynamical systems in 2011 and graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. in mathematics in 2016.

Math 497 Student Colloquium will be offered in fall 2021. This is a 1-hour colloquium-style lectures in mathematics. You will be introduced to topics that are not covered in regular courses. Students will give a short presentation to their peers at the end of the semester.
