New polling today showed the majority of the American people still think Democrats are out of touch when it comes to law enforcement and public safety. Having mayors like Kenyan McDuffie would go a long way to solving that problem.

#BreakingNews - The DC Office of Campaign Finance has opened an investigation into allegations that the Janeese Lewis George campaign for mayor is improperly involved with unions that also are running an independent PAC supporting Lewis George. The @washingtonpost asked for my thoughts about the DC mayoral race. "...anyone who wants to be mayor should make clear where they stand on public safety [...] the days since the shooting have revealed a contrast between @kenyanmcduffie and @Janeese4DC."

Teen curfew zones protected public safety in DC this weekend. Unfortunately, a melee erupted in an area not covered by a curfew. @Janeese4DC opposes teen curfews and has led efforts on the DC Council to block them. If elected mayor, JLG won't use this effective tool.

Affordability is the number one issue facing DC families. Nearly half of our residents are burdened by housing costs. Utility bills keep climbing.
