Michael Bennet is the best candidate for governor in the Democratic primary. He has business experience, educational experience, management experience, and political experience. He has been a leader in education reform, immigration reform, healthcare and the environment.

Julie Gonzales is a popular choice amongst party activists to replace John Hickenlooper. However, her contempt for prolife activists, her condescending leadership style, and her preference for combat over collaboration make her a horrible Democratic choice for US Senator.

At the Colorado DemFest, three of the four Attorney General candidates were impressive - David Seligman, Hetal Doshi, and Michael Dougherty. Jena Griswold had nothing to offer other than her opposition to Trump - a very low bar.

At Colorado DemFest today, Amanda Gonzalez made a strong case why her extensive experience running elections for Jefferson County and serving the state in several multi-county election integrity initiatives makes her the best Democratic candidate for Secretary of State.

This is so precious. The moment fathers hold their babies for the first time, like with the mother, the child’s breathing and heartbeat are regulated better than any incubator or monitor ever could. Nothing captures the beauty of fatherhood quite like this.

This is sadly true of the Democratic leadership. This is why prolife advocates who are inclined to leave the party should stay and bring some sanity and compassion to the national debate regarding abortion. Prolife Democrats are strong and determined to affect change in the party. Call me an extremist, but I believe killing innocent human beings is tragically wrong. washingtonexaminer.com/opini…

Just when women and preborn children were about to receive bare minimum safety regulations, abortion manufacturers jumped in to save their bottom line. Women deserve real medicine, not a mail-order workaround that benefits only the abortion industry. ‘Telehealth distribution’ of mifepristone would actually provide medical oversight — instead there is none. No exam, no ultrasound, no screening for coercion and no doctor accountable when patients are harmed. This is a transaction, it’s not a medical interaction. Women and their preborn children deserve better. The Supreme Court must allow the Fifth Circuit's ruling to stand.
On Friday, the Fifth Circuit GRANTED our request to reinstate the in-person dispensing requirement for the abortion drug mifepristone during our appeal. Praise God, that safeguard was in place all weekend... for the first time since 2021. Today, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a 7-day administrative stay while Danco and GenBioPro appeal that victory. To be clear: This is NOT a reversal of Friday's decision. Rather, it's the run-of-the-mill pause that the Justices typically use to consider the issues raised in an emergency application. We- with @AGLizMurrill -will respond by Thursday. The stay will expire on Monday. We respect the Court's desire to have time to consider the issues and will continue our fight to uphold this victory that protects women and babies across the country from FDA's unlawful and destructive mail-order abortion-drug scheme.

This is monstrous, Congressman Thanedar. We have our dignity and basic rights--human rights--in virtue of our humanity, not age, size, or stage of development, anymore than race, sex, or ethnicity. Human dignity is inherent, not acquired. All of us have it, and we have it from the point at which we come into being; we do not lose it except by ceasing to be (i.e., by dying). On this principle--that of the profound, inherent, and equal dignity of each and every member of the human family--all else depends. It is the foundational principle of justice. If we bandon it, then all other claims of justice are rendered arbitrary ... and Thracymachus wins.
My favorite kind of abortion is the kind that's safe, legal, accessible, and none of your damn business to regulate. And no amount of fearmongering by describing what goes on to a half-ounce fetus with no consciousness, self-awareness, or feeling of pain is going to change that.

An extraordinary interview that is well worth the time.
Extended interview: Former Nebraska senator Ben Sasse has metastatic pancreatic cancer. He spoke with 60 Minutes' Scott Pelley about where America has been and where it could still go.

HB26-1335 would force public universities and colleges to offer drug induced abortions at their health centers. This unfunded mandate will shift resources for other critical educational priorities. Campus health centers are ill-equipped to deal with the anticipated hemorrhagic and infectious complications from drug induced abortions. By promoting drug induced abortions on university campuses, we will be exacerbating an already endemic problem of mental health. #coleg #copolitics
