Going from 30 to -30 disapproval on the economy with white working class voters is the tale of the Trump economy. He sold his base a false bill of goods only to deliver nothing but economic hardship to them, and they've figured it out.
NEW: In 2018, white working-class voters approved of Trump on the economy by 30 points. Now they disapprove by as much as that margin in some polls. My piece on how Trump’s big blue-collar white vulnerability is reshaping the 2026 landscape nytimes.com/2026/06/13/us/po…

Private sector job growth plummeted by over 80% Trump's first year back in office and this is the best they got. The way Congressional Republicans flipped from, "Elect Trump, he's a job creator!" to, "Don't blame us for weak job growth, government doesn't create jobs," is rich.
The government doesn’t create jobs It can employ people, but when it does so it displaces wealth that would otherwise be creating more jobs in the real economy That’s because government can’t create wealth—all it can do is redistribute wealth, and it does so poorly

This is nothing new. This is how the entire Republican Party has been operating for 10 years, except it's Trump telling them what their "sincerely held" beliefs are
MAGA-influencer Riley Gaines being told/paid by Patriot Mobile handlers what her "sincerely held" beliefs are in leaked video. Mar-A-Lago Face is a phenomenon that needs to be studied academically.

Inflation is at a 3 year high, gas prices shot up more than 50%, and grocery prices have gone through the roof. If that's what "winning economically" looks like then I'd sure hate to see what losing looks like.
Burgum: "President Trump won the war militarily. Then he won the war economically ... diplomatically, militarily, economically -- three ways to win a war. Trump won all three of them."

Elon Musk receives $8 million per DAY from American taxpayers, which YOU voted for. Progressives aren’t taking Elon’s money and giving it to working families—Trump and Congressional Republicans (such as you) are taking working families’ money and giving it to Elon.
Progressives: Remember that Elon’s wealth belongs to him Yes, he has a lot of money That doesn’t make it yours—or the government’s

Elon Musk just became the World's First Trillionaire. Meanwhile, the American Dream is dying for more and more working people everyday, as groceries, gas, childcare and housing are becoming increasingly unaffordable. We need higher taxes on the rich now.

I will be putting forward a resolution to void the fraudulent impeachment of President Trump during his first term in office. Russia collusion never happened. This has been proven by evidence released by ODNI Gabbard. It was a terrible lie that tore this country apart, and was plotted by a weaponized intelligence agency under Obama. There is no monetary value that can be assigned to the damage this lie caused. It destroyed families’ relationships with one another, our country’s comradery, and our relationship with another nuclear super power (Russia) that could have resulted in war. Thank goodness the admin has started to restore that relationship, but HISTORY should reflect what actually transpired.

Trump's policies and the inflation they cause are especially painful for the people who were most loyal to him and they are noticing.
Morning Joe interviewed 3-time Trump voters who have become disillusioned: "It's been two years now. You said you'd bring down the grocery prices. I must be the most angry person when I grocery shop." "He's backtracked on every single pitch point he had during his election ... I'm not a big supporter of him at this point"

Actually, wages were outpacing inflation throughout the final 2 years of the Biden presidency, so Trump inherited any economy where wages were keeping up only to then screw it up with his harmful tariffs and Iran War.   You don't ALWAY have to suck up to Trump
Incomes not keeping pace with inflation has been the persistent economic issue for tens of millions of Americans for quite some time. When Congress borrows trillions and runs massive deficits, it is still an effective tax increase — it just comes in the form of higher prices.

They did the meme ya'll.
We are up to 16 cosponsors on the ASSIMILATION Act. We will repeal Hart-Celler, and we will shut down the national funeral pyre of mass migration. America First!

Inflation is outpacing wages by almost a whole point, that is quite literally the opposite of "Americans with more money in their pockets." Trump loyalists are utterly incapable of admitting how disastrous this economy is no matter how many Americans tell them they're suffering.
Tim Scott: "Inflation ticked up to 4.2%, the highest in 3 years. The trend is not going in the right direction. But one of the things it signals is resiliency in our economy, which is in fact good news. Because of Donald Trump, we have more Americans with more money in their pockets."

When inflation was in the mid 2's in during Biden's last year, candidate Trump was screaming everyday about how bad it was. Now that inflation has skyrocketed to 4.2% since Trump has returned to office, he says, "I love the inflation," unironically, on camera.
Breaking News: U.S. inflation surged to a 4.2% annual rate in May, as higher energy prices put more pressure on the economy. nyti.ms/4vcLmYs

Instead you just endorsed a guy you accused AT LEAST 7 times of protecting pedophiles and turning the state into a "pedophile paradise". Just admit that you're a shameless hack who stands for nothing which is why the voters just rejected you by giving you a fifth place farewell.
Say what you want about us, but at least we've never been confused about what gender we are, and we'd never marry our brother.

Inflation just shot up to the highest rate in more than 3 years. Trump just said, "I love the inflation". I don't even know what to say, the President expressing joy that Americans are hurting from the high prices that he caused is insane, even by his standards.
Jun 10
Reporter: Are you concerned, Mr. President, about the latest inflation number which came out this morning? Trump: No, I love it. I love the inflation.

One of my favorite things about representing Detroit is its rich history of Black musical excellence, as the birthplace of Motown and the home of countless legendary artists, from Diana Ross and Aretha Franklin to Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson. As we celebrate Black Music Month, make sure to put some R-E-S-P-E-C-T on Detroit's name.

Republicans just gave another $70 billion to ICE and CBP. They keep writing blank checks for lawless immigration enforcement while going after the programs working-class people rely on most, like Medicare and Social Security.
