metrics-usage v0.5.0 is out, making this little even greater !
➡️Merge usage of metrics has been optimised
➡️A new parser has been implemented

We have implemented a new (small) parser. Before we were (only) relying on the PromQL parser that requires a valid promQL expression. But sometimes your expression contains variable that cannot be replaced statically.
This parser is able to catch metric in incomplete PromQL expr

We are introducing the concept of partial metrics.
Like "node_cpu_utilization_${instance}". When ingesting these partial metrics, we are trying to find what reel metrics it can match.
