For those who may be vaguely interested in my attempt to get #PiForce1 past 200K miles, I regret to announce that a catastrophic engine failure occurred at 186K Revs dropped from 3K to zero in 1.5 sec π€. Fortunately with some rapid clutch work managed to coast into a lay-by π³

Great to be @tnmoc today record an oral history of DEC in the UK. The PDP-8 has a special place in my personal history & along with Graham crystalised my future career direction & my passion for educational outreach leading to @RaspberryPi_org. Thanks for your hospitality. π

Dave - it was memorable and set the scene for many more near space adventures. It also proved that Pi could be a route to discussions about so many spheres of science and technology, especially exploding ones! (Balloons that isπ³)
