Who's who in the the global kleptocracy — the world's most successful thieves:
Elon Musk is now worth about as much as the world’s next four richest people combined. Musk became the world’s first trillionaire after SpaceX shares rose following a record-breaking initial public offering that raised $75 billion for the rocket company. wapo.st/3QDHuAP

Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire. Let’s make sure he’s also the last.

We need to pass the Voting Rights Act this year because there are elections this year where these protections matter. The Speaker is wrong to try to kill it.

The experiment is over – we know what does and doesn’t work to address climate If we look at what has been proposed to address global warming, air pollution, and energy security during the past 25 years, only one solution – electrification of all energy sectors and generation of the electricity with wind, solar, geothermal, and hydro sources -- has made an impact. This solution has reduced enough world emissions and technology costs for the @IPCC_CH, to eliminate its worst-case climate scenario. What are the proposed climate solutions that never worked? (1) Fossil gas replacing coal, (2) ethanol replacing gasoline, (3) carbon capture, (4) direct removal of CO2 from the air by equipment, (5) blue hydrogen, 6) nuclear, and (7) geoengineering. We knew these were poor solutions back in 2009, when they were first evaluated. But, it has taken 17 years to overcome lobbyists pushing these techs. On the other hand, electrification of world transport, buildings, and industry and using clean renewables to provide the electricity while growing energy efficiency, also proposed in 2009, has worked, as evidenced by the world growth in electric vehicles, heat pumps, electric furnaces, and clean, renewable electricity generators. All-of-the-above policies, or let’s try everything and hope something works policies, have failed. Given the short time we have, we should never see another IPCC scenario that includes biofuels, carbon capture, direct air capture, nuclear, geoengineering or their derivatives, blue hydrogen, electo-fuels, or sustainable aviation fuels. We know what works. Let's focus on that going forward. 2 1/2 yrs after Norman Finkelstein won't condemn Hamas because he has spent the last 15 years reading the human rights reports on "what was done to those people." You can't do what you did to those people and think something like that is not going to happen. "It's inevitable."

The biggest threat to the American people is America's government and the kleptocracy for which it stands: trillions for war, but no universal healthcare, no guaranteed housing, no retirement independent of work history, no universal basic income. Need I continue?
Asked about the Pentagon's record $1.5 trillion budget request, Susan Collins replies: "defense has been underfunded in the Biden administration year after year after year." "We face so many global threats, and we cannot afford to have a defense that is underfunded for our national security."

The story is that the kleptocracy likes to keep people hostage on their media. To do so, the Algorithm seems to discriminate against links. Supposedly to solve this problem, people post links in a comment section, after a delay.

Israeli officials and their allies complain that describing Israel's genocidal behavior is "blood libel." …But look at what's being openly said on one of the most popular TV channels in Israel:

The US kleptocracy is as much over-represented as the people are under-represented.
US President Donald Trump lands in Beijing, and with him he brings the following CEOs to request "deals" with Chinese President Xi Jinping: – Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX CEO – Jensen Huang, Nvidia CEO – Tim Cook, Apple CEO – Larry Fink, BlackRock CEO – Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone CEO – Kelly Ortberg, Boeing CEO – Brian Sikes, Cargill CEO – Jane Fraser, Citigroup CEO – Larry Culp, General Electric CEO – David Solomon, Goldman Sachs CEO – Sanjay Mehrotra, Micron CEO – Cristiano Amon, Qualcomm CEO
