A Democrat has a scandal: Everyone on the right and left attacks them. A Republican has a scandal: Everyone on the right defends them. A few on the left attack them. This is a huge problem.
MIKA: Given your sexting, can you call for the release of the Epstein files and not be conflicted in any way? PLATNER: Yes, of course. I engaged in consensual romantic activities with adults at an earlier part of my life. That seems like a fairly normal thing most people do. Going to an island with billionaires to possibly assault children is a vastly, vastly different thing.

It's pathetic how moderates are not team players. Yet progressives and the left always make a point to unite when we lose or even win.
Janet Mills statement makes no mention of Platner: “I am grateful to Maine people and incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together. I will continue to fight with everything I have to improve the lives and livelihoods of Maine people.”

Susan Collins lied to us and now refuses to even say she regrets her vote for Brett Kavanaugh. This is why so many Mainers regret their vote for her.

I am honored to have @ProgressiveVic endorse our grassroots campaign. This campaign is about building a city that works for everyone, not just corporate interest. Together, we're fighting for affordable housing, better protections for our immigrant neighbors, increased support of our public schools, and leadership that's accountable. Thank you to Progressive Victory for believing in our vision of a Providence for All.

The only thing the DC establishment can agree on is a love of Jeffrey Epstein — and a hatred of me. Together, we will take back our government from the Epstein class. WATCH: Our new TV ad

This should be a career-ending scandal. But life under Trump is so hellish, it's not even front-page news.
🚨 Trump has fired all federal employees tasked with prosecuting corruption.

So strange that Tom Steyer conceded and endorsed Beccera, while centrists like Janet can’t even find the will to mention the guy who completely destroyed her in the primary?

Congratulations to Graham Platner on his landslide victory in Maine. Together, we will defeat Oligarchy and create an economy that works for all, not just the few.

We need to pass the Voting Rights Act this year because there are elections this year where these protections matter. The Speaker is wrong to try to kill it.

Stumping for Susan Collins, the woman who directly overturned Roe V Wade, support Israel's genocide and promises to help Trump pass his entire agenda should have you pushed out of the party permanently.

If you can’t see the massive bad faith right wing smear campaign going on against Platner right now then you must be blind. This is ludicrous:

Why would anyone want to spend 1.6 billion dollars subsidizing Big Tech companies when that money could go to public education, health care or tax relief for our constituents? This issue is uniting Democrats, Republicans and Independents and I am proud to be your advocate!

Scalia died in February 2016. It took Obama a full month to nominate a replacement and then he used no leverage and barely lifted a finger for Garland; the party was more focused in the moment at making sure everyone understood how racist and sexist Bernie Sanders was. Plenty of Obama aides were actually glad when Dems lost the senate in 2014 because they were sick of Harry Reid pushing Obama to be more assertive and fight more. They lost the Senate in 2014 largely because of Obama’s capitulation to/obsession with austerity and reducing the deficit. He constantly insisted he had no real power — Neera will probably respond by saying he had no power — which Trump has proved totally wrong. And when RBG died in September 2020 Trump nominated ACB the next week. They play to win. But sure, a 5 minute segment from @chrislhayes would’ve made the difference. (And I’m sure he did do a bunch actually.)
I would have really liked to see a full 5 minute segment on the Supreme Court stakes in 2016. No one seemed interested back then.

John Fetterman seems to genuinely think that the reason no one likes him is because he refuses to wear a suit. It's not the hoodie, dude. It's because you've become a stooge for AIPAC and the Republican party.
