While owner Jerry Jones remains committed to Mike McCarthy, many around the league wonder if Dallas could become the primary landing spot for Bill Belichick this offseason, should the #Cowboys decide to make a change. According to multiple sources, Belichick has a “really great” relationship with the Jones family. McCarthy is in the final year of his contract, and Dallas is 3-3 this season, with all three losses coming at home.

#Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks will miss this week's game vs. the #Steelers, and possibly more, after developing a knee infection following a procedure in New York, per @toddarcher. Another big loss for Dallas.

House of horrors week

#Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence is expected to miss multiple weeks because of the foot injury he suffered Thursday night, per sources. With Micah Parsons dealing with a high-ankle sprain, Dallas now likely will be without two of its top defenders until after the Week 7 bye.

Cowboys and Giants both preparing to be without a pair of defensive backs tomorrow night: DAL CB Caelen Carson (shoulder) and S Markqeuese Bell (ankle) are both listed as DOUBTFUL. NYG CB Adoree Jackson (calf) and CB Dru Phillips (calf) are both listed as OUT.
