No, because he is of British/English descent from South Africa. SA had some of the leading technology of the world at one point, from the first heart transplant, nuclear power and coal-to-liquid technology. ANC tribalism ruined all of this.

Elon Musk did not become a different person when he landed in America. In South Africa, he may still have been brilliant, restless, and ambitious, but the environment would not have given him the same room to build SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, and everything else. Talent matters. The country you build in decides how much of that talent can become real.

It wasn’t. With rare exception, colonies were unprofitable, meaning more was spent building infrastructure like roads, railways, buildings, etc. than was exported. And look at places like Singapore and Hong Kong. Both were colonies for a long time and yet they are extremely prosperous.

Vladimir Putin: "I want ordinary Western citizens to hear me. You are told to blame Russia for your problems. That is a lie. Your hardships are the result of your own elites' greed & their selfish interests. We are not responsible"

Only two women killed? After viciously attacking civilians Russia managed to kill two? Ukraine is much more successful in that. A day ago you killed 21 teens in their sleep. Glory to Ukraine!

You see now, Zimbabwe will always be fucked. Imposed leadership is the recipe of disaster. I can foresee gnashing of teeth on the opposition if chiwenga secceeds Munangagwa. Replacing evil with evil won't fix this country. Why can't you allow citizens to choose their leader?

🚨Thierry Henry on Cristiano Ronaldo tears after winning the Saudi Pro League: 🗣️ “ People see Cristiano Ronaldo crying after winning the Saudi Pro League and some laugh because of where he is playing now. But for me, that moment explains exactly why he became one of the greatest athletes we have ever seen. This is a player who has already conquered football. Champions Leagues, Ballon d’Ors, league titles in England, Spain and Italy, international trophies with Portugal… there is literally nothing left for him to prove to anyone. Yet at 41 years old, he is still celebrating victories with the same emotion, the same fire and the same obsession he had when he was a teenager at Sporting Lisbon. That is not normal. Most players lose that hunger after winning one or two major trophies. Cristiano never lost it. People always talk about talent, but mentality is what truly separates legends from great players. Cristiano trained like every season was his last chance. He treated every game like it mattered. That is why he stayed at the top for almost 20 years while generations of players came and disappeared. To still have that level of passion at his age, after everything he has achieved, is honestly unbelievable. It tells young players that greatness is not only about ability, it is about sacrifice, discipline, consistency and refusing to ever become comfortable. You can love him or hate him, but you have to respect that mentality. Football may never see another competitor like Cristiano Ronaldo again...”

Folks are upset cause i said we must learn from South African Democracy. As Africans we must learn not hate. A Police Commissioner accused his boss of Corruption on TV. Elsewhere Mkwanazi would've been fired for that. Hate or love them SA has most stable institutions in Africa !

Black people cannot govern or build modern structures & organizations. When White people leave a neighbourhood, school, business, city or country... it starts collapsing. Then Black people start trying to follow those White people.

Unemployment as a man doesn’t just take your paycheck. It takes your voice, your name, and the way people look at you. Here’s what it actually does to you: Your day loses its shape. No alarm. No reason to shave. No “how was work.” Result: 3pm feels the same as 3am. Time starts eating itself 🧵

World Bank told Nigeria to reopen fuel imports because Dangote’s fuel was 12% more expensive than imports. Dangote called it flawed. World Bank quietly deleted the whole report from their website. Meanwhile Europe is buying refined fuel from the same Dangote refinery because Middle East supply got disrupted. The same Europe that used to sell Nigeria its own crude back as petrol. You can’t make this up. An African refinery finally works at scale and the first recommendation is not invest more, not expand capacity. It’s bring back imports. When Africa consumes nobody says a word. When Africa refines and competes suddenly it’s a problem.
