I have every airline’s app. @AlaskaAir’s is the only one that sends me notifications unrelated to any travel, for no good reason.
They are still getting my loyalty whenever possible. But the app is annoying.

These were not "aborted landings." They were "go arounds," assigned by Air Traffic Control, that were purely precautionary out of an abundance of caution.
There was no immediate danger. This is what is SUPPOSED to happen. This is a safety win.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating aborted landings by two flights into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport due to a nearby US Army Black Hawk helicopter that was traveling to the Pentagon. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
