Was that to discuss business, or was it to discuss something much more interesting to the Russians, namely Banks' ability to deliver Putin the prize of Brexit? Around the same time Banks started parroting Russia propaganda lies about Putin's 2014 invasion of Ukraine, including the blatant lie that Crimea is as Russian as the Isle of Wight is British, ignoring the fact that after conquering the territory in the late 18th century, Russia effectively exterminated the main part of Crimea's native Tatar population. Farage, Brexit and Russia are inextricably entangled. Farage is Moscow's man in the UK, and Banks was his Russian linked Brexit bankroller

Trump is once again groveling before Putin. Russia has been invited to the G20 summit in the US, – Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin. Inviting a country with 217,000 documented war crimes to the G20 summit in the US is not diplomacy – it's a disgusting trivialization of mass murder. While Putin and his cronies are already wanted in The Hague on arrest warrants, Trump grovels before the war-criminal state and rolls out the red carpet for it. This is a disgrace, a slap in the face to every Ukrainian child, every raped woman, and every bombed city. Anyone who brings mass murderers to the table instead of bringing them to justice has lost all moral legitimacy and is spitting on the graves of the victims.

He has improved the lives of ordinary working people and continues to do so and is narrowing the gap between rich and poor by sharing the country’s prosperity more fairly. That’s what the media and their wealthy backers don’t like.

The last two weeks have seen plenty of positive economic stories, vindicating Labour's plans for the economy.
