Amy is stronger than the entire cast whenever she gets the spotlight in certain comedic moments. it’s a valid ability but it also doesn’t really require deep analysis

Sonic fans love letting mischaracterizations slide all the time, but as soon as you say “I like to imagine Amy is stronger than we think” suddenly they all rush in with every source and screenshot they can find to prove you wrong 😔

when i learned that the ages were removed, i honestly thought it made sense. those ages always felt superficial and more reflective of the audience each character was aimed at

i keep seeing this take occasionally and it genuinely confuses me. artists can’t just want or not want to do something like that, the whole process is controlled and constantly goes through revisions and approval from sega
This has only been seen in the IDW comics; in all other games and series outside of those comics, he has always had an uncomfortable reaction to Amy's physical displays of affection, It's just the comic book artists who don't want to draw him that way, that's all

from what ive seen, sega doesn’t seem like the type to give creators a ton of freedom. their direction can be inconsistent sometimes, but they’re definitely very picky about how the characters are portrayed
