Daytime street sweeping is delayed in the City of Boston due to snow. Neighborhoods scheduled to begin on March 1 will be delayed until at least March 16. Beacon Hill, the North End, and the South End will be impacted.

WSBK/TV38 signed on the air 60 years ago today, October 12, 1964.
It became one of the leading independent TV stations in the country thanks to holding local sports rights to Bruins(1967-2002), Celtics(1993-1998), Red Sox (1975-1995, 2003-2005).
