Today is likely to be the bleakest day for the NHS. Major incidents have already been declared across the country prior to the ambulance strike.
This has been evolving for many years of neglect of the NHS.
This is not as a consequence of strike action, but the reason for it.

Racism in maternity care in the UK is insidious and because it is covert and subtle it’s hard to describe how you are feeling. The strong black woman streotype is killing us. We should be allowed to be vulnerable and scream in pain.”
