Thank you to all our fun loving children and their families for making our Halloween celebration today so amazing!
We started our day with a bonfire and marshmallows, A delightful mixture of outdoor fun with tug of war, fancy dress competition and lots of dancing!
What a fantastic time we had celebrating Sheffield's first Day of Play #sheffieldplayday
Our children (and playworkers!) LOVED playing with The Flying Seagull Projects circus set - they juggled, walked on stilts and the tightrope, learned diablo and plate spinning!
As part of our Playwork module we took our Level 4 students to Pitsmoor Adventure Playground in Sheffield, where they got to experience an adventure playground in action. What a great day for it too! @LBUHealth@PitsAdventures
A month of preparations with lantern making workshops delivered by our resident artist Patrick Amber alongside co-creater Jo Veal left our children so excited for the special day to arrive !
The families gathered with excitement! The start of the most magical night ! 🏮✨💫
It's all happening up at Parkwood Springs as the team of dedicated volunteers help get ready for the Community Lantern Festival today. What a glorious day !

It was wonderful to see Uriah Rennie when he popped in to say hello!
Uri has been a great friend and supporter of the playground since our beginnings as a charity 10 years ago, offering much help as well as funding and resources through @SheffCityTrust
Hope to see you again!
Happy National Playday everyone ❤️
Our playground will be open as usual on our Kids Only Wednesday for those age 8 between 12-4pm. We will celebrate as we always do - with fun, food, friendship and most of all plenty of PLAY!

Followed by a pop up swimming pool in our giant tyre , the perfect way to cool down.
A massive THANK YOU to all of our children, parents, friends and supporters who joined us today to celebrate International Day of Play. We had a fabulous time and feel very fortunate to have such a brilliant, playful community to share the fun with #Internationaldayofplay
Our 'Kids Only Day' goes from strength to strength as these talented independent children take their designs to another level. Figuring out techniques with such determination to achieve thier desired outcomes. Alongside a flurry of growth with our home grown veg 🧄❤️🎨
It's a great feeling when plans take shape . Our children have been enjoying colourful painting sessions behind the scenes with our resident artist Patrick Amber preparing for a brand new look on the playground building. #play#Sheffield
