Today's @scotgov poverty statistics make for depressing reading but behind the headline numbers there are all the thousands of children that we are failing. Failing to uphold their basic rights and failing as a society to allow all children to thrive and reach their potential ⬇️

⚠️ Today's figures published by @scotgov show a quarter of a million children are waking up in poverty across Scotland. We mustn’t allow this to continue. Children need action: ⬆️ increase the SCP to at least £40 💼 boost wages ⬇️ reduce the cost of childcare Our statement 👇
