@Hedera  thread - tech, decentralization, governance, myths, FUD, use cases and future of public DLTs Background and reasons why I write this: I decided to create this thread to combine general info about Hedera and along the way I will counter some common myths and FUDs that I have encountered on this platform over last two years. Some of the following lines will be based on my personal opinions and observations, which I gathered while studying public DLTs, their fundamentals and adoption. I hope this thread will be a good entry level for new guys who are trying to get into this project as it won't be too nerdy. My biggest wish is this will convince communities from other L1 projects to dig deeper into the fundamentals of Hedera and make them understand why Hedera is most likely on its way to become the most used public network in the world. There is probably room for more L1s, but I am skeptical we will need more than 2-3 public networks in the future (apart from Bitcoin). I won't be comparing Hedera with other L1 networks, although I might mention some other projects, which I believe have flawed fundamentals. In the end these flaws convinced me that Hedera is by far the best public network suitable for basically all types of decentralized applications. This thread is not a financial advice! #Hedera #HBAR $HBAR #cryptocurrency

The Hashgraph Group and @merckgroup are extending TrackTrace, our Hedera-based Digital Product Passport platform, with Merck's M-Trust™ authentication technology. As the EU introduces Digital Product Passports from 2026, companies must prove where a product comes from, and that it is genuine. Products are scanned and their authenticity is confirmed, signed, and recorded on @hedera. Already demonstrated in a supply chain pilot, and built to work across foods, pharmaceuticals, luxury goods, and beyond. You really can’t understand what this Premier League title means to an Arsenal fan unless you’ve lived through the last two decades with them. This is a fanbase that watched their club go from Invincibles to years of banter, financial restrictions, stadium debt, constant ridicule, losing big players, finishing outside the top four, and becoming the punchline of football conversations online. An entire generation of Arsenal fans grew up hearing stories about league titles instead of actually experiencing one themselves. Went from being utter joke, losing 8-2, 6-0 to Chelsea. Mourinho called their coach a Specialist in Failure. Some Arsenal fans were children the last time this club won the league. Some are adults now with jobs, families and responsibilities, and this is their first real moment of seeing Arsenal crowned champions. That emotional gap matters. This is not just “another title” to them, it feels like closure after years of patience. And the journey makes it even more emotional. This wasn’t bought instantly. Mikel Arteta inherited a broken squad, a disconnected atmosphere and a club many people thought had lost its elite standards permanently. Arsenal finished 8th twice. People laughed at the project, laughed at the process, laughed at the signings, laughed at the young players. Every setback became viral content. But the club stayed committed. The fans stayed committed too. They watched young players like Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Martin Ødegaard and others grow from prospects into leaders. They endured title races that ended in heartbreak. They watched rivals celebrate while being told Arsenal were “soft” or “not serious”. So when this title finally arrives, it’s not just celebration, it’s release. Years of frustration leaving at once. That’s why the emotions look different. Arsenal fans are not celebrating like a club that wins the league every other season. They’re celebrating like people who waited years to feel respected again. Like supporters who defended their club through every difficult era and are finally seeing belief rewarded. And honestly, that’s what makes football beautiful sometimes. The long waits make the moments hit harder.
The pre-match atmosphere against Atletico and Burnley was good, but this is another level.

If this is not a red card for Foden, then I don't why Man City fans are complaining about Havertz today vs Burnley

Mikel Arteta has brought Arsenal to a Champions League final. With a performance that symbolises how he transformed the club. They were physically, technically, and psychologically inept when he took over. In every sense. The fans had no hope. Now? Arsenal embody the opposite of that. They compete for every duel like their lives depend on it. They have physical monsters all over the pitch. They are the best set piece team in the land. Their fans celebrate a successful high press like a goal. All whilst dominating games with technical and tactical superiority. From doubters to believers. On and off the pitch. We've been here since 2019, guys. Predicting it and watching it unfold in real time. 'Trust the process' was no gimmick. It was steeped in reality. Despite all of the noise. Despite the mass criticism. The doubts. From inside and outside of Arsenal. But here we are, guys. Here. We. Are.

You morons started an offensive conflict with Iran, with no coherent plan for the strait of Hormuz, you’ve killed the one man you could have negotiated with and cemented a regime for another generation. You’ve raised oil prices globally, stated a global recession and quickly found out you aren’t capable of defeating Iran or even opening the strait. You then call on your NATO ‘allies’ that your president has belittled and slapped with Tarrifs for the last year who all politely decline for the above reasons. It’s almost like the USA learns nothing from previous conflicts. Went to Korea to prevent communism, sacrificed half the population to an even worse regime. Went to Vietnam to again prevent communism, ended up with the communists controlling the entire country that was previously split. Went to Afghanistan to rid them of the Taliban, within one week of leaving the Taliban had control again. Destabilised the Middle East with conflicts in Iraq, Syria and Libya causing power vacuums that gave birth to ISIS. For a country with the world’s ‘best’ military you do tend to fail your objectives a lot! Take your troops out of our countries, you’re going to need them to fight another forever war, that will undoubtedly end exactly where it started.

Vitalik questioning the L2s is a big signal. If rollups are not the full answer, then base layer performance matters again. This is where Hedera stands out. Hedera is a high performance Layer 1 with fast finality and low, predictable fees, with no reliance on L2 rollups, bridges, or sequencers. It supports EVM, so Solidity developers can deploy with familiar tools but get better cost and speed directly at the base layer. Wallet experience matters too. HashPack provides a full featured, EVM supported wallet on Hedera with integrated swaps, onramps, staking, and app access. Builders plug into an ecosystem with real UX and distribution from day one. If the market shifts away from L2 heavy scaling, @hedera plus EVM plus @hashpack are positioned to benefit. Hello future.

𝗛𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗤𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 & 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 From Davos to Denver, Hedera’s first quarter of 2026 delivered major milestones. Here’s a breakdown of January, February, and March 2026 – showcasing @hedera’s global reach, technical progress, and growing enterprise adoption. 👉𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Global Outreach: Hedera engaged world leaders at WEF Davos (Jan 19–23), sponsoring USA House to showcase its enterprise-grade. It also participated in the LF Decentralized Trust Summit (Jan 28–29, NJ), reinforcing ties with policymakers and open-source. Network Sustainability: To ensure long-term network economics, Hedera increased the ConsensusSubmitMessage fee from $0.0001 to $0.0008 (effective Jan 2026). This 8× fee adjustment, introduced with mainnet release v0.69, keeps pricing predictable (USD-fixed) while supporting Hedera’s high-throughput usage. Enterprise Council Growth: Global energy giant Repsol joined the Hedera Governing Council in Dec, becoming the 31st member (of 39 allowed). Repsol will run a node and advance decentralized digital identity in energy, underscoring Hedera’s appeal to Fortune 500. 👉𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Builder Momentum: At ETHDenver (Feb 17–21), Hedera hosted DevDay – a builder-focused event with workshops, bounties, and a booth to turbocharge the developer. This hands-on engagement fostered new ideas and collaborations in the Hedera ecosystem. Next-Gen Infrastructure: Hedera advanced its core tech stack. Block Nodes (HIP-1081) entered private preview on testnet/mainnet in late 2025, with community access opening in Q1. In February, a block-streaming Mirror Node (v0.148) was, supporting unified Block Streams (HIP-1056) for real-time data and phasing out legacy record files. These upgrades pave the way for faster, more efficient data access across the network. 👉𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 Government Adoption: Real-world use cases accelerated. In early 2026, Georgia’s Ministry of Justice agreed to migrate its national real estate registry to Hedera, following Dubai’s move to tokenize land. This underscores Hedera’s strength in secure, large-scale public-sector applications for asset tokenization. Ecosystem Growth: Hedera closed Q1 with strong momentum and an eye on the future. The community now prepares for HederaCon 2026 (May 4 in Miami, FL) and further network upgrades (consensus nodes v0.74 scheduled for June ). With 2026 underway, Hedera and the @HederaFndn are poised to accelerate enterprise Web3 adoption in the coming months, solidifying its role as a forward-looking leader in the crypto industry. $HBAR #HBAR #Web3 #Davos2026

🇬🇧UK adoption of $HBAR is on a consistent uptrend In the past year or so alone we've seen: ✅Neuron awarded UK CAA working contract ✅Hedera selected for BoE DLT Challenge ✅Lloyds & Aberdeen tokenized collateral ✅Key partner for UK FCA regulated Archax Slowly but surely, the Hashgraph is being further integrated in the UK's core economic infrastructure. From financial innovations via Archax, Lloyds and Aberdeen being the first to bring forth tokenized collateral in action, To the Bank of England themselves selecting Hedera as a participant to test settling central bank money outside the BoE's control on an external ledger, All the way to the UK Civil Aviation Authority tapping Neuron on Hedera for innovations in drone security. And with the UK's recent bill passed for digital asset serving as official property... It's all lining up for Hedera to become a preferred layer for the future of the UK's DLT innovations
