The Megatron was really the ultimate '90s themed restaurant. Tony has done an incredible job preserving its memory and shares some really thoughtful reflections on what we lost with its demise.
The lovely people at Planet Tomorrow had me on their podcast! I don't know if I can bear to listen to my own voice. Can you guys do it for me?

Finally got to visit the Biosphere from Montreal's Expo 67, which has been repurposed as an environmental museum! Never been in a transparent geodesic dome before. It was trippy.

The metro station is named for Jean-Drapeau, mayor during the expo. The platforms feature murals depicting the Titan Atlas, recalling the fair's theme, "Man and His World." Thought it was interesting that entry to each staircase is walled off for several ft before the first step
Cannot express how cool and impressive this account is, recreating EPCOT Center's Future World as it looked and sounded opening day in 1982. Follow if you love details or, better yet, if you've got answers to questions about them!
1982 background audio questions to ponder: 1. What was playing around Spaceship Earth? It had no atmosphere loop. 2. What was playing in the red box? Horizons wasn't open yet. 3. What was playing around the Seas before even construction began?

This is a poster from the 1964-'65 NY World's Fair guidebook advertising "To The Moon And Beyond," which Cinerama claimed would "surround the audience - on all sides and above." Supposedly the film inspired Stanley Kubrick to hire the production company for 2001: A Space Odyssey
