Wow.
It has been my highest honor to serve America and the Great State of Montana. We have secured critical funding for Montana bridges, roads, sewer systems, water infrastructure, public access points, conservation projects, and helped thousands of Montanans successfully navigate through the federal bureaucracy to solve real problems that matter to the people that I am honored to represent.  Service is a duty that I will always hold sacred, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference. As for my service and duty going forward, I have made the decision to leave office at the end of my fourth term and not seek re-election. Full statement below.

I've never seen a more accurate portrayal of anyone.
"Every county clerk in the south." This is the most accurate character sketch ever created.

In this perspective, I think about how Trump's presidency might push us to better understand politics in the policy process. As always, it was great to work with reviewers who gave me helpful comments that changed how I thought about these issues. Also, thanks to @PSJ_Editor!

Somehow Derek Guy is positioned to offer explanations and withering critiques for whatever the Trump administration does. I suppose it makes sense that he's never out of fashion.

Although tailoring has mostly receded from daily life, it continues to be the expected uniform for some of life's most important moments, such as weddings and funerals.

RFK Jr on measles: "The MMR vaccine contains a lot of aborted fetus debris."
Community note
The rubella component of the MMR vaccine was developed using the WI-38 cell line, derived from fetal lung tissue obtained from an aborted fetus in the 1960s. This cell line is used to grow the weakened rubella virus. The vaccine is purified and doesn’t contain fetal cells. chop.edu/vaccine-educat…

Gaetz out. @Scaramucci likely sad that there is a new metric for lack of longevity in the Trump administration.

The country is moderating. Maybe...depolarizing? [I know, I know, data needed, etc]

California takes pride in its progressivism, but this election it's looking cracked. Raising Minimum Wage CA: 52% NO ❌ (Passed in 4 red states: AK, MO, NE, AZ*) Ending Prison Slavery CA: 54.9% NO ❌ (Passed in NV with 60.4%) Housing Bonds CA: 56% NO ❌ (Passed in RI 66%)
