Where have I gone?
Well Social Media is utter garbage now days. AI is making it worse.
The internet as a whole is just falling apart, so I am prepping myself back to pre internet ways.
Still developing, but just not interested in sharing it for it to be harvested.

Cone Test Platform V2.0
1st cone tests will be done at 9cm. Most previous work was done at 6cm or 7cm.
Reason is to compare high frequency response easier. Especially with different materials.
Development will cover 5cm to 13cm, so 9cm is a good middle ground.

Over 6 weeks I have designed and printed over 12 different spider designs. What's come of this work?
Clean seam area to cut off.
Easy to print in both Arachne and classic modes.
Very nice curve shape to avoid kinking and can keep itself straight on a single perimeter wall!

Next step is the former design and then the cones can be done for testing.

Test Platform V2.0 Info:
Test cones 6cm to 12cm, including shapes
Test with and without surrounds
Audio capture On Axis, 22.5, 45 & 67.5 Degrees
Swap out design = Massive amount of testing in a comparable form

New spider design is made and 1st attempt come out nicely. Few tweaks but nothing major.
With tweaks done it will go into the test platform.
Weighs 2g, so accounts for 1g of Mms.
Final development is about sound quality above SPL for the most part π

Turning my mind to the final development push...
**This is Test Platform 2.0**
It will allow me to test various cone designs in quick succession amongst other things.
The idea is rapid testing and a platform to more consistently capture data.

STEM I 'think' is in its final version now. See the video where you can see it handle movement on a single suspension system.
Remember when listening, 100% PETG 3D printed parts. No TPU/PEBA. No supports.
It's only 2 parts as well!!!

I think this is prototype 23 now? Lost count.
Motor was tweaked for improved symmetrical magnetic field.
Design aims to improve resonance dissipation through the 'blade' suspension concept.
Also new logo on the dome π
