USA. A Mexican restaurant. We had not yet ordered anything, and the food was already arriving. Chips. Salsa. Unrequested. Free. I stopped the waiter. "We have not earned these." "They just come with the table, man." They come with the TABLE. In my land, hospitality is a debt. Every gift creates an obligation, weighed carefully, returned in the proper season with interest of feeling. Here, the gift arrives before you have even proven you can pay for dinner. This is not an appetizer. This is a declaration: we trust you. Eat. I ate with the gravity the moment deserved. And then — I must report this calmly — the basket emptied, and a new one appeared. "Did we…?" "Refill," the waiter said. "It's bottomless." Bottomless. They have wells of salsa. The supply lines of this nation are beyond anything my ancestors imagined. My friend warned me. "Don't fill up on chips, dude." Too late. I had accepted three baskets. Honor demanded each one be finished — an unfinished gift is an insult. By the time my actual food arrived, I was a ruined man. I was not hungry. I was not comfortable. I had been defeated by a courtesy. Generosity that arrives before the request cannot be repaid. It can only be survived. I know the rule now. I have made my peace with the basket. One basket. Two at the most. Who am I deceiving. There is no number of baskets I would refuse. The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it.

Oh give me a break. Comparing Charlie Kirk’s cold-blooded execution to George Floyd is obscene. George Floyd was a violent repeat criminal who OD’d on fentanyl while resisting arrest. He wasn’t a “martyr,” he was a convenient prop for the Left to torch cities, loot businesses, and declare themselves righteous while standing in the ashes. Charlie Kirk? A husband, father, employer, speaker, a man who tried to instill faith, family, and personal responsibility in a generation raised on nihilism. He was assassinated in front of his wife, children, and father. Not by accident. Not by overdose. Murdered. And what did the Right do? Did we burn cities? Smash windows? Attack cops? No. We prayed. We mourned. We honored his life without destroying the lives of others. You want to know the difference? – A criminal who terrorized women vs. a man who raised them up. – A fentanyl OD vs. a targeted assassination. – Cities on fire vs. candlelight vigils. The only people insane enough to equate the two are the same people who quietly nod along with Charlie’s killer. This “analysis” is nothing but moral rot dressed up as intellectualism. You are spitting on a murdered man’s grave to score points in a culture war you pretend to despise. We are not the same. And calling Charlie Kirk “MAGA’s George Floyd” isn’t just disgusting, it’s dangerous. It legitimizes political violence. It says: assassinate someone on the Right and we’ll sneer that they’re just another idol. That’s not journalism. That’s the mindset of an accomplice. GFY

Sue her in Civil Court. A person like her would feel the sting in her pocket much more than she would the few days she MIGHT serve in jail followed by probation.

It is the overwhelming self-importance of the participation trophy generation who have become teachers that is the problem. What matters and consumes their private lives is more important than teaching the subject matter in the classroom.

Last night Newsom cursed on air to show how convinced he was Trump won't leave office after his current term is over. Today it was reported California has the highest unemployment rate in the country. Crickets.
LAST NIGHT: Gavin Newsom said people need to push back on ICE agents because they’re the result of an authoritarian government THIS MORNING: a sniper shot up an ICE facility

This is madness and shows the evil that courses through the veins of the pharma industry and DC.

Why Vinay Prasad was fired from FDA -> Sarepta spends years making drug -> drug is really awful, no benefit -> studies are so cooked and terrible FDA regulators are horrified and say studies are so bad -> regulators overruled -> drug gets approved -> $3.2 million/injection -> patient advocacy groups criticize drug -> Sarepta threatens them with lawsuit -> drug explodes livers -> drug kills someone every other month -> Sarepta hides third death from investors -> FDA's Vinay Prasad strikes with ban hammer -> Sarepta stock falls to all-time low, down 88% -> Sarepta burning $1B/yr, about to go bankrupt -> Sarepta to FDA: f*ck you, we are going to keep selling the drug -> Sarepta panics privately, hires top former Trump strategist -> strategist goes to Laura Loomer -> Laura Loomer smears Prasad, who loves Trump and hates Fauci -> digs up 5-yo Prasad posts saying he hates Trump and loves Fauci -> Loomer writes pharma lobby talking points about rare diseases using words she doesn't understand -> Sarepta pretends to comply with FDA while Loomer works -> top PhRMA lobbyist copies the smears in Real Clear Health, cites Sarepta -> online pharma-run sock puppet accounts, probably run by strategist, start smearing Prasad -> WSJ copies the smears, cites Sarepta -> RFK Jr. praises Prasad privately -> FDA commissioner Marty Makary praises Prasad publicly, calls him impeccable scientist -> strategist gives video to Loomer of Prasad making fun of Trump Derangement Syndrome -> strategist/Loomer edits the video to make it look like Prasad is the one with Trump Derangement Syndrome -> Rick Santorum spam dials Trump, screams about innovation and children -> Ron Johnson spam dials Trump, same thing -> Trump says why do I have to deal with this sh*t my god why is Indian guy in FDA causing so much trouble -> Trump asks: does he really have a voodoo doll of me that he stabs? -> Bill Cassidy: wow this guy hates Trump, I saw the edited video from 5 years ago, that proves it -> Trump, wanting to be left alone, fires Prasad -> Democrats in FDA post petulant things on FDA office walls celebrating Prasad's firing -> Republicans: "innovation is saved" -> Sarepta stock price doubles -> FDA regulators now terrified of drug companies, will approve anything they want -> victory for pharma, defeat for America -> banana Republic sh*t

People who think like this cannot ever be granted authority over anything that matters, least of all the survival of a nation. The world is a dangerous place and compromises, even unsavory ones, sometimes must be made in order to maintain a position of advantage. Everything can't be a stand on principle; all or nothing; an existential conflict. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. People who don't understand that live in a fantasy world in which our advantage is permanent. We'll never run out of money, munitions, or men. We'll never find ourselves in a battle we can't win. They always think that the only thing stopping us from solving every problem is will. They're wrong. Staying on top is incredibly difficult and it requires savviness, ruthlessness, and wisdom. It requires knowing what battles to fight and how to fight them. The old wisdom is true. You actually do have to pick your battles. Russia IS the aggressor. And? Why does that mean Ukraine must fight to the last man? Why must we escalate the war into World War 3? Turns out, we don't have to. Russia actually can be contained. They've suffered significant losses and are in no position to march through Europe, even if they wanted to (which is itself a dubious claim). It is a naive, childish, and ultimately cruel person who places the continuity of borders over the value of millions of dead (mostly) men. A person with this attitude should pick up a rifle and head to the front. Otherwise, her callous willingness to throw men into a meatgrinder should be regarded as villainous.

The truth is simple. Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia is the aggressor. Ukraine defends its freedom—and ours. We stand with Ukraine.

While I don't doubt something like this can be true, I don't trust posts that feature a screengrab from an anonymous site with a "Staff Writer" byline. Those things make my bullshit meter instantly redline. Doesn't matter that Elon retweeted it.

Want to know how rotten the US foreign aid industry is? USAID said in a 1995 memorandum that the strategy is to "delay, postpone, obfuscrate, derail" any policies for transparency and efficiency. I wrote this series 28 years ago. @DOGE @MikeBenzCyber academia.edu/11034672/_Delay…

Many are discounting his words, feeling he wouldn't be saying these things had Kamala won. Which is probably true, but Trump's win has given many people & corps the courage to say & do things without fear of the wokescolds. It's the tide turn we wanted. Will it last? We'll see.
🚨ZUCK: "A lot of the corporate world is pretty culturally neutered. I have three sisters, no brothers, and three daughters, and no sons. I've been surrounded by women my whole life. The masculine energy is good. Society has plenty of that, but corporate culture is really trying to get away from it. I think having a culture that celebrates aggression a bit more has its own merits that are positive and having a thing (MMA) that I can do with my guy friends is good. The intent on all these things is good. If you're a woman going into a company, it may feel like it's too masculine and that there's systems that are set up against you -- but I think these things can always go a little far. It's one thing to say we want to create a welcoming environment for everyone, and its another thing to say that masculinity is bad and its toxic and we need to get rid of it. Both of these things are good. You want masculine and feminine energy. But I do think the corporate culture has swung towards being a neutered thing. I didn't feel this until I got involved in martial arts. It just turned on a part of my brain that made me say okay, this was a piece of the puzzle that should have been there, and I'm glad it now is."
