Holy crap, the company I interviewed with today already setup a second interview for tomorrow at the same to for the CTO and myself to talk.
I'll just assume the quick interview succession means that the first interview went well! 😄

Interview went well! It was just myself and an embedded engineer... The CTO couldn't make it due to something coming up. Slightly disappointing but hey, I get high priority stuff comes up for C-levels.
Until the next interview, back to work on the next firmware update for 64HD!

I am terrible at 3D modeling, but I think it is starting to look nice. Can't wait to play Halo on this.
Still have to blend the controller meshes and remove extraneous geometry from them, and I am not looking forward to it. :)
Also it's a 9" panel now cause big bezels are yucky.

This cannot happen for multiple reasons unfortunately. The Wii U gamepad uses a custom encrypted broadcom direct wifi streaming protocol. To reverse this would take a massive amount of reverse engineering, potential certification requirements, and custom firmware work.

We need to reverse engineer the WiiU gamepad so it can pair up with the consolizer!

There some leg work RE the Wii U gamepad but the project has been abandoned since roughly 2014. To pick up where they left off would be an undertaking and that's putting it lightly.

The final nail in the coffin is availability and the price of a Wii U gamepad. Recent sales on ebay of the gamepad range from $70-$100.
While it would be unbelievably cool to use, it just isn't practical or feasible with our current 2 man team.
