Michael Snow... an unfathomable loss. I wrote a dissertation about zooms in 70s cinema because of him—and yet, WAVELENGTH was more of a structuring absence, something I approach without ever grasping. I choose not to believe he's dead—rather, like his work, he infinitely recedes.
