Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis | New Gameplay and Previews
▪️More than just a 1:1 remake, more of a reimagining
▪️"Feels like all the necessary ingredients are there"
▪️Puzzles are reimagined with new scenarios
▪️Use clues in the environment to figure out how to progress, minimal player guidance
▪️Players can still select difficulty in puzzles, combat, guidance etc
▪️Still largely linear but exploration off the main path leads to rewards, hidden paths, caves, ruins
▪️Lara can find rare materials, suggesting crafting
▪️Lara is more acrobatic, new grappling hook to cross large gaps, etc
▪️Raptors are more vicious and fearsome this time, key is to stay mobile and aggressive
▪️Lara has a "slight floatiness", a bit like older Tomb Raider games, with a "fun melding" of modern game design and old-school game feel
▪️Combat is designed with Lara at the top of her game, acrobatics, dodges, power fantasy
▪️You earn 'Focus' as you attack enemies, can do gymnastic flips and slow down time
▪️T-Rex sequence is completely redone, huge playable chase sequence
