I think in the vaporwave community, we should be looking at the success of Backrooms as something we should champion. Backrooms in many ways plays on the same ideas that we touch on in the genre. At least for me personally it's pretty close to the themes I touch on in my own work

It is necessary to filter soundspam and getting the language right for a policy like this is hard
When they say that music "generated wholly or in substantial part by AI" is not welcome, that is understandable in the case of a bot posting 1000 generic songs a day. That is a spam issue.
I am also compelled to push back against banning human artists for experimenting with an era defining medium

I genuinely think as a society, our attention spans are so fucking cooked. People at this point cannot allow themselves to be engrossed in a story unless it has plot twists at every corner. This extends beyond tv, just every media format.
It’s been enough time now, Pluribus take so far:
-Strong plot, good mystery
-Cinematography is great
-high quality product
-Awful pacing, stalling, unrewarding
-Bad and annoying opening title
-Unappealing, boring characters
