I started recovering from burnout in 2019.
Since then, I've:
- Lived in India for 3 years
- Explored Nepal and Egypt
- Had more energy dip episodes
- Set up my holistics practice in India & UK
If I did it all over again, here's what I'd do differently:
Still no Twitter on my phone.
Not that I mind. One less app to distract me!
But I've let some things slide.
Twitter ppl - I'm still here, dipping in, monitoring the direction of travel.
Always looking to meet new people, connect and explore.
Happy weekend!
Yeah I disappeared.
When your phone breaks, so does your diary and so much functionality!
Paying bills, reading emails, booking travel.
Everything slows.
Maybe that's a good thing?!
Who has a back-up phone?
Should it get run over by a van, as happened to mine on Wednesday, you will discover that it's really useful to have another.
Life without a phone might sound dreamy - it's really not. It's stressful!
Online Shiatsu class tonight.
Felt into some neglected corners of my body.
Days trapped in the head = huge disconnect from your system.
How do you get back in your body?
Advice I'm hearing from big creators:
Attract an audience.
You don't build one.
And how?
Be more human.
So obvious.
But I'm really hoping we can avoid the outpourings of 'vulnerable' revelations, as per LinkedIn
🤮
Emotional soap operas to confirm humanness not required!
The madness of learning to 'speak' to AI - prompts, constraints and commands...
...whilst not really knowing how to operate ourselves.
Is this really progress?
