The Predict:Prostate tool (prostate.predict.nhs.uk/) is now updated with new data on the possible harms of the different treatment options. You can now select how many years ahead you want to look. You can weigh these against the possible survival benefit that the site calculates.

I find this tool really helpful as men often overestimate the risk of Prostate cancer death and the potential benefit of treatment and under estimate their (often much larger) risk of death from other causes.
@Prof_Nick_James argues to use tools predicting survival in men with prostate cancer undergoing radical treatment like prostate.predict.nhs.uk. Additional tools could be developed for intensified treatment in mHSPC. #APCCC21.
