So much data is missing from EHR but present in the conversation! Imagine capturing, structuring, and using that data to improve patient outcomes. This doesn’t even include *how* things are said - tone, speed, phrasing, etc. #Healthcare needs better and real-time data. #AI

Burnout has become such a major issue for physicians that the @AmerMedicalAssn is now offering free access to the @Headspace meditation app as a perk for members. A nice anecdote to share for those speaking or writing about #wellbeing.

Really believe we can make this a lot better in the next decade. Most of the burnout comes from documentation burden / clerical work that we can automate away with technology. Actual patient care, despite the challenges, can be quite rewarding.
