Today I was asked: "Robot mane kana?" (What (do you) mean by 'robot'?)
For the first time, I found myself speaking of the very idea of a robot to a layman.
Interesting. Two questions:
1. How much precision will it lose over repeated uses - especially with weights that stretch its tendons and put pressure on the motors close to the limits
2. Serviceability
Here is the next-generation Tesla Bot (Optimus) hand with 22 degrees of freedom. It looks remarkably human like.
The previous version had 11 degrees of freedom.
