Our lunchtime roller skating club has been a wonderful addition to the school day! 🛼 It’s fantastic to see so many children building confidence, developing new skills, and most importantly, having fun with their friends.

It was fantastic to welcome so many of our EYFS & KS1 parents who came along to our lesson visits on Tuesday. The children were excited to share their learning, using their maths knowledge and skills including number bonds, fractions and comparing numbers. 🎉✨

In DT, Year 3 developed key construction skills by measuring, cutting, folding and joining card to design and build freestanding abstract 3D sculptures. Pupils tested ideas, solved problems and refined their structures as they worked.

They explored shaping clay by hand and practised some basic skills to help make a simple model. Lots of pressing, rolling and shaping, with some lovely creative ideas on show!
Our Year 5 pupils had a fantastic time at the National Gallery Museum. With sketch paper in hand ✏️, they moved around the galleries, sketching their favourite artworks and taking in all the inspiration the museum had to offer🖼️
Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic visit to Tate Modern today! They explored the galleries, enjoyed creative activities, and soaked up incredible art. Huge thanks to the Tate team for an inspiring trip!
“What’s inside a conker?” That’s what one of our learners asked this week and we had such a fun afternoon predicting, trialling, sawing, hammering and talking about it today! @PrimaryMay
Reception were amazing in their first ever school trip to our local park! We hunted for autumn treasures and even had time for a play in the park to celebrate their amazing progress over their first half term!🍁🍂
