Life is so precious. I was on an extended road trip for work up in Vermont and was heading to my car. Got in an elevator with an elderly couple looking to be 90 years old and the husband was holding a Nikon. I assumed they were here to sightsee or some retirement trip so he strikes up some conversation with me asking how my day was and what I was in Vermont for and I said work. I asked him if he was here for vacation and he tells me they were staying in a hotel to go through their son’s belongings in their apartment in Vermont as he passed away due to heart attack. Finding out your son passed away while you’re over 90 years old has gotta be heartbreaking. Life is precious man…fuck.
